12 Dimensions Critical Reflection

part 1:
Knowing about yourself is a key element to formulate a background for analyzing situations over the years. One of the tools to get a clear perspective on your personality is taking a CMI survey. The survey is sequence of questions that simulate a personal between 12 dimensions. For me, I find five of the dimension really interesting and enlightening in making life choices, building relationships, and even choosing a job. These five dimensions are growth, destiny, expression, decision making,
and status.

I've always thought of myself as the one who try to help, encourage, and give a positive vibe. That's what growth is to me. It's all about persons. The growth either be by empowering people to achieve work goals or by buying materials to help to achieve that goal. But taking into consideration people have more value than materials.

Living life as a bird which had the freedom to do whatever he likes, making the shots , and creating a chance to be unique in your own perspective. That’s how destiny should be like. Destiny is being a doer or done. Having a saying on  your life choices

Expression is a really tricky sense . I feel  that I'm the type of person that is a see through. But in many occasions concealing bad emotion is the way to go. Giving a good message about yourself .can increase your chances in taking seriously

Exploring how do I react to the fourth dimension would help me out in terms of defining myself. Cause I think obeying  the rules is crucial in work atmosphere. But what would happen if I was affected by helping my family or a friend. Would I obey the rules or choose relationships.

Coming from a big family it's hard to make a name for yourself without relying on your parents money. That's why I choose to work in order to complete my first degree. And also working in my second degree. Getting a higher position is a tough job but it's rewarding especially to yourself confidence. That's what status you either make your way in the world or rely on relations to live your life.

part 2:
The report states that I'm more of an achieved person which I totally agree with, since I've finished first degree, doing the second, financing myself, and my little brother depends on me as well.

 part 3:
In five years, a lot could change but two polarities of my background wouldn’t. these two are directing my fate and achieving my status. Because I think they were sculptured into my personality. Other than them, I believe that relationship polarity changing to situational would empower my position at work at that time. All in all. Anything in life subjected to change through situations and life experience.

Exercise 2

Part A
Ban in public buses targets Muslims in Xinjiang

As part of defining the inter-cultural conflict, I used the advertisement above to show how authorities are considering every Muslim. It's obvious from the drawing that every Muslim Character is bad with devious features and they should be reported on sight if they rode the bus.
The conflict of Banning Muslims From Riding public buses( Government Vs Muslims):    The government view the matter by (honor/shame). Since they value the life of their people and honor it, they'll be shamed if these lives are jeopardized by bombing.while Muslims believe that you can't be held for something you didn't commit which is the principle of (innocence/guilt). Due to this conflict, the best solution is to provide public buses for Muslims.

Part B
Analyzing My worldview

Using the quiz of the world views, It gave me an insight on why and how I behave. My score varied but the lowest mark was for the (Power/Fear) principle which suppose that my personality doesn't assess hierarchy or even associate with powerful people. On the other hand, the scores of the other perspectives were really close that the difference between them is 1 mark. It does make sense for me and also make me feel good about myself that my character obeys the law, has critical thinking (Innocence/Guilt). In addition, it has the genuine qualities of my ancestors like assessing each situation, thinking of my group of people(Honor/Shame). All in all, I believe that some characteristics are inherited just like face and body features.

Exercise 1

Bull Fighting

Each country has some kind of traditional activities. Some of them are irrational for example the bullfighting in Spain. The pull fighting in short is making a bunch of bulls run through a track full of people and most probably hurt some of them, then be killed in an arena with no point. People are coming from all around the world for the festivity not the bulls. Travelers and tourists can't help themselves when it comes to celebrations.Unfortunately, Some traditions just can't be changed.
